I have been providing therapeutic counseling services to adults for 22 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. Services are and have been provided in the outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization settings. I have provided therapy for mood disorders and substance use disorders as well as conflict resolution for couples and families. I am an active learner and very empathetic to my clients' willingness to change and feel better overall. My approach is mostly Cognitive Behavioral which examines thinking that may be somewhat faulty. Once the thinking patterns change then so do the feelings.
As of 4/25/21, I cannot accept new clients at this time.

Dan is excellent
Dan is a very good listener and will tell you how it is, something I appreciate greatly!!!
Dan has been super helpful in just a few sessions. He understands where I am at, and provides great advice.
Dan has a no-nonsense approach to counseling and gave me several insights as to how my default ways of thinking about myself and the situations I'm in can be flawed. He used repetition as an effective tool to reinforce the concepts that helped me overcome my emotional hurdles. At the same time, Dan gave me room to investigate and work on these concepts outside of our live sessions, and this was an efficient use of our time.
