About Me

My name is Danielle Day and I am a Licensed Clinicial Social Worker, currently providing biblical, Christian-based counseling. I received my undergraduate degree in Counseling and Criminal Justice at Grace College and Theological Seminary, and my master's degree from Abilene Christian University. I firmly believe that everyone can change; sometimes we need outside help to encourage us to make the change a reality. My therapeutic style focuses on motivational interviewing techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, as well as incorporating spiritual disciplines in daily routines.

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, setting boundaries, faith-related matters, and or relationship problems, I would love to help walk you through those difficult problems with you.

I'm so grateful for the investment of deep thought work and counseling that Danielle has provided. Danielle works patiently yet productively to do the intentional work. We have begun working through some childhood trauma, anxiety, marriage issues, etc. Danielle gives very actionable exercises to work through feelings, accept them as they are, and move forward with helpful tools for successful living. Danielle is a great listener, and you can tell she really cares about helping you achieve your goals. She will push you, but if you feel uncomfortable, then you will pause, process the fear, and then keep moving forward.

Danielle is absolutely awesome!!! She has consistent, helpful feedback and has taught me so much about me and is helping me to learn new ways to cope without a negative thought process (my go to). I'm sorry that I wasted sessions with the other counselor that I saw initially!

I’ve spend a couple weeks in therapy with Danielle and it has been freeing. My issues stemmed from a very hard year of anxiety and overwhelming circumstances in my personal life and work life. She’s worked with me and processed with me through it all. She’s unbiased and has great coping skills on deck.

I have really enjoyed working with Danielle. She laid out a plan right away for my therapy and was consistent and thorough, as well as encouraging and supportive. It was important to me to have God involved in my therapy and she has done a brilliant job of reminding me of where God is in all my dilemmas. I would 10/10 recommend Danielle Day!
