About me

Welcome! You have officially taken a huge step towards your wellness. My name is Dani Langit-Campbell and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently practicing in the Commonwealth State of Virginia. Originally from California, I completed my undergraduate degree receiving a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur University. Directly following, I spent time working in the community with the most disenfranchised groups in several different roles. It was during this time that I made the decision to further pursue a degree and career that would allow me to connect to people in a vulnerable, but healing way while they embark on their mental health journey. I knew that I was passionate about helping and even more passionate about the role I could play in the mental health field. I received my Masters of Social Work from California State University, East Bay, with a concentration in clinical and community mental health. The years following, I was fortunate enough to expand my clinical skills by providing individual and group therapy. I have provided treatment in an inpatient, partial inpatient, adult detention centers, intensive outpatient and outpatient setting . While I generally work with direct clients and patients, I have also been known to be involved with several grants, initiatives and projects addressing behavioral health care both on a macro and mezzo level. I like to call my approach person centered and strengths focus. I believe that you as a human deserve the right to mental health care. I believe in working alongside you in order to meet you where you are at in your treatment and support your best interest while also challenging the areas causing you the most distress. My goal as a therapist is to support your own self determined while providing you with therapeutic intervention and guidance needed to live a healthy and holistic life. I view the therapeutic/client relationship to be one were we both feel safe, respected, trusted and heard. I feel privileged to be a partner in treatment as there is no better reward than sharing kindness and compassion with others. I want to applaud you in taking the first steps in your healing by reaching out, you are now on the path to regain control of your mental health and live a life worth living.

Danielle is amazing. She always makes me feel seen and heard. She allows me to talk as much as I want during our sessions, while still giving useful feedback. I feel she is a highly qualified counselor who truly cares for her clients!

I cannot say enough about Danielle. We have been working together for a short amount of time, but it feels like I have accomplished so much. She is empathetic, engaged, supportive and a really good counselor. She has helped me through some really dark and difficult times. I feel lucky and privileged to be working with her.

In the short time I have been working with Danielle to help me deal with the anxiety and hopelessness I've felt in the face of chronic illness, she has helped me feel heard and when I've been too overwhelmed to even open the app, she continues to send messages and check up on me so that I get the reminder on my phone to let me know she cares. Danielle is exemplary and I've never had a counselor or therapist who seems to understand the challenges that are unique to chronic illness. I'm so grateful for her help. Thank you, Danielle!
