My journey to mental
healthcare

My path to becoming a social worker began with seven years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard, where I worked as a cook. After my military service, I pursued my Associate’s degree in Human Services at Quincy College, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Curry College, and a Master of Social Work from Boston University. I have over five years of experience working in hospice care, providing grief counseling and emotional support to individuals and families facing serious illness and loss. My work is grounded in compassion, empathy, and respect for each person’s unique experience.
