Danielle Sheppard is a licensed clinician who helps individuals realize and achieve their true potential. She recognizes that every person is different in terms of goals, aspirations, and the pursuit of happiness, and that everyone’s path to peace of mind is different. As such, she strives to help each of her clients realize their strengths, values, and ultimate potential. She takes a holistic approach to therapy, often encouraging her clients to incorporate adjunct therapies such as mindfulness, yoga, meditation, and physical exercise into their treatment plans, as nourishing the mind requires nourishing the body as well. She is a mother of 2, a Professor at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles and is certified as both a JCTC (Job & Career Transition Coach) and a JCDC (Job & Career Development Coach). Danielle uses a strengths-based, integrative approach to tailor therapy to each client, and loves to help individuals see and express the strengths they often overlook in themselves while recognizing and listening to their inner voice, including the inner critique. She approaches each client and what they bring as a unique story to listen to and learn about together. Danielle’s clients rave about her natural intuition, down to earth, non-judgmental approach and love her balance of warmth, kindness and ability to provide life changing insight.

Prof. Sheppard has helped me process through so much. We’ve worked on topics from relationships, childhood trauma, racism and business. She has an inquisitive style that allows me to explore my inner world and lead the way, with her as my guide and passenger. I feel stronger emotionally, mentally and physically partially because of the work we’ve done together. There are many things about myself that I am more aware of and are working through, which is liberating. I would recommend Prof. Sheppard to anyone I know.
Danielle Sheppard has been everything I wanted to find in a therapist. She's a great listener and she was able to provide me with insights, help and support that I very much needed. She made it easy to schedule some sessions around my busy work schedule. I'm really grateful I got matched with her, she helped me work on myself and through a difficult time.
Professor Sheppard has been outstanding. I have been struggling with my self-confidence, anxiety and other areas in my life for sometime now. She has helped me improve on those aspects. Although I still struggle with those things, i can definitely see my self handling it better because of therapy with her. Than you Prof. S!
Danielle has been the most patient, understanding and empathetic counselor I’ve ever had. Even in times where I’ve been overwhelmed and inconsistent with my therapy, she always reaches out to check in on me and offer encouraging words and support. I am grateful to have found her.
Prof. Sheppard is wonderful- very caring and a great listener. I feel heard each time we meet, and she’s really helped me discover more about myself and heal.
Getting deep into therapy may take some time, but Danielle’s expertise and intuition have been very helpful to me so far. I’ve been dealing with all kinds of issues all over the map so it’s relieving to find someone who understands where I’m at, can answer any questions I have, and can help me get where I want to be. I’m still new, but feel very grateful to be speaking with her.
Professor Sheppard is an excellent therapist. She helped me navigate major life changes and always made me feel understood. Professor Sheppard helped me to identify what I truly valued and desired in my life, which enabled me to make significant positive life changes. She is a kind, caring, and compassionate expert and I feel lucky for the opportunity to work with her.
Prof. Sheppard is exactly who I needed to help me with the problems I've been struggling with over the past few months. She encourages me to take my emotions into my own hands and actively work towards holding myself responsible for my reactions to problems I face, while at the same time being an incredibly compassionate, engaged listener. I have already seen significant growth in myself through talking with her.
