About Me

I am licensed in New York, Florida, and Michigan with over 25 years of experience working as a psychotherapist and life coach with individuals of all ages. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting stress, and career challenges. My counseling style is warm, reflective, and encouraging. I believe in treating everyone with respect, compassion, and openness. I believe everyone is doing the best they can. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, rational-emotive, dialectical behavior therapy with a blend of mindfulness, energy psychology, and psycho-education. I will tailor our time together and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to step forward and seek help for a more fulfilling and happier life. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I am so grateful for Danielle's help and support. She has been open, encouraging and kind throughout, creating a safe space from the very start. She has allowed me to see challenges and stuck thought processes from a whole new perspective, and I can safely say working with her has changed my life for the better.

Through emails and conversation by video, Danielle helped me talk through stress I'd been experiencing at work. Her description of my mind's fight or flight or freeze responses informed me of why my body reacted as it did to certain situations. As a result, I'm on a path to greater mental strength, which will help me in my next pursuits.

Danielle is a kind and empathic counselor who gently guides a patient to better self-awareness and problem solving. I am so much calmer since beginning my sessions with her last year and look forward to our weekly chats. She responds to messages promptly and always with warmth and support.

Up to now Danielle and I have only communicated through "text", messaging on the better help site, and even with just reading each others paragraphs, I have felt understood by Danielle. She has already challenged some of my thoughts, I feel confident in continuing with Danielle.

Danielle has been extremely helpful and supportive. This is my first experience in therapy, and Danielle was quick to ease my nerves. She is positive, warm, and has helped lead me down a path of healing. She asks questions and shares advice to help give me new ways of processing past trauma and significant life decisions.

I am so thankful for Danielle. She is kind, patient, professional and clearly very experienced in her field. She challenges me to get to the root of a problem and helps me work from there on how to change my viewpoint, attitude and habits for the better. Thanks to Danielle, I feel so much more comfortable in my own body and feel much more stable in my relationships.

Danielle has such a calming and friendly presence. She helped my husband and I so much and my husband considers our sessions a safe and comforting environment, which was no easy fit since in the beginning he had a lot of reservations about getting counseling. Danielle has strangled our marriage and is helping us learn communication tools that we can use for the rest of our lives.
