About me

My approach to the therapeutic process is transparent, concrete, and collaborative. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to attend to discriminate patterns, affirm you innate strength and ability to persist, and assist you in creating options available to solve challenges you face. The goal of these interventions are to assist your sense of efficacy and bolster your esteem to be able to continue managing your life as you adapt and modify to unexpected challenges and changes. Helping you, helps others.
My past work experience includes adult psychotherapy with co-occurring diagnoses, depression, anxiety-based disorders, substance use, relational conflict, and cognitive remediation for traumatic brain injuries (TBI/ ABI).
I received my undergraduate training in psychology from Howard University. Thereafter, I attended The Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development from New York Univeristy where I studied Mental Health Counseling. I practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State.
