Darren Kong, LCSW
About me
For over a decade, I’ve worked across medical, military, hospice, and community mental health settings—meeting people in some of their most vulnerable moments and helping them navigate toward safety, healing, and stability. I take a more direct approach with people that I work with because I find that the lifestyles of today are constantly on the go-- that being said, I want you to get back to feeling much better more quickly, however, there is never a "quick fix" to therapy and I am absolutely adaptable to the pace in which you are at in life. At the heart of my work is a passion for equity—ensuring that underserved, marginalized, and often-overlooked individuals receive compassionate care and are connected to the resources they deserve.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
