After finishing my studies at Fordham University I have spent the past 7 years working with many clients of diverse backgrounds, dealing with an array of complex issues such as depression, anxiety, and stress management.
I feel that one of the most important elements of therapy is to provide a space that is free of judgment and full of empathy and compassion. While developing a comfortable rapport, I like to draw from different schools of thought, taking into account the personality of whomever I am working with. Some of these approaches include motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I feel that these therapeutic interventions work well together. They can help the client gain a better sense of stability and confidence as well as give them the ability to reframe difficult situations in ways that will better serve them.
Whatever issues you may be struggling with I am here to help you find your resilience and strength within. I look forward to hearing from you!
