About Me
Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Arizona. My background includes working in a variety of settings with adolescents, families, adults both young and older. Because I have worked at many levels in organizations from a direct care counselor, supervisor of many behavioral health professionals to CEO, my experiences have exposed me to all types of people facing many challenges from personal to professional.
My approach to counseling is to establish myself as an ally to the individuals with whom I work. Through active listening, often times using humor when appropriate, I will attempt to fully understand the perspective and feelings that the person has and is experiencing. From the first session on, I try to help people take effective control of their situation by jointly designing plans that usually begin with small steps and build over time to dealing with the issues that contributed to the person asking for help.
I especially enjoy working with people who are going through transitions, such as, starting or ending school, changing jobs, experiencing divorce or loss, relationship struggles or even preparing for retirement. My approach is to help people examine their values, identify and build on their strengths, focus on acquiring new skills to deal with current and future problems and take action to change their lives in ways that they choose to be most helpful. While working together we may decide to modify or change plans as we go along, but the goals will always be clear and achievable

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for David Bradley. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Mr. Bradley,
I appreciate the advice and guidance you have given me over the past months. It has been very valuable to my health and wellness.
David has been great. His schedule is so flexible and he's available whenever I've needed to chat. He's offered some really constructive ways to get me through some tough spots in my life.
David has a high level of empathy and compassion for my problems. He has validated some of my concerns with traumas in my past and has offered good information and constructive ways of viewing my life in the past and in moving forward to a better future. He has also taken the time to help me understand my partner a bit more, and be more assertive with my needs in my relationship. I am only a handful of sessions in, but I can tell David will continue to be helpful as I try to grow and live a more peaceful life.
David is a kind man who is easy to talk to. He’s made me feel very comfortable and at ease.
Dave has helped me in so many ways! I went to years of therapy before I had a breakthrough with him!
He has helped me gain control of my life that I felt I was gonna lose control over.
David is responsive, supportive, knowledgeable, and challenges me to think about things differently than I would on my own. He is professional and I would recommend him without hesitation.
Thank you for being so straightforward with me. I was looking for that no nonsense approach when determining a therapist

David has really helped ease the anxiety of going to therapy for me! It is a comfort to do therapy with a qualified person from the ease and comfort of my own home
My life has done a full 360 degree turn since starting counseling with Dave! (In the best way possible). My first session, I couldn’t stop crying, I had quit my job, paused my marriage & had fully broken down mentally. He got me on the right foot by focusing me on the basics of routine, sleeping better, eating more regularly/healthier & exercising more regularly. He reminds me to be patient & kind to myself & always has words of encouragement. He truly is an ally to my mental health & I had the courage to face my many problems, one at a time, with him along my side. I can say I got really lucky with him being my first every counselor & I will hold any mental health professionals that help me in my future, to the same high standard he has set.
David has been very helpful for our couples counseling. He is great at reading body language and the situation. He has given us practical tools to use in our relationship that are helping. I would definitely recommend him.
David has such a kind voice and is a great listener. I feel like he genuinely cares which matters alot when it comes to a counselor's effectiveness. He's helped me to see that I would benefit from taking action to improve my health and quality of sleep. I would definitely recommend him to a family member or friend.
David is amazing, he supports my needs and gives me clear terms for what I'm dealing with. He checks up on me regularly and makes sure I'm okay. I have already recommended better help and him to several friends.
Very thankful for David’s help!
I have done therapy before but talking with Dave even just after one session completely changed my outlook and gave me much needed insight into my situation. He is by far the most helpful person I have worked with.

David is a very calming, kind, and compassionate counselor. He cares about how you feel and gives very mature advice on how to handle situations. He has a very calming nature and takes care on what he says and makes sure you understand what he says.
I was kind of skeptical about attending counseling but I saw my change in my previous ways of coping so I gave it a shot. I really enjoy the insight and perspective Dave gives me. I would recommend to anyone and quite literally have.
I was thankful to get David Bradley as my counselor. In just the first session he was not only very flexible, but also provided useful tips for immediate help. I was very comfortable talking to him and he listened without judgement. I would recommend David to anyone who is looking for flexibility and kind helpfulness in your time of need.
Dave is very insightful. He is also a good listener and is able to see the real issues and propose useful solutions.
Good listener and helpful
He’s anazing
Dave is a wise and compassionate counselor. He has offered great advice in each session that has helped me to gain greater clarity on important questions in my life.
When I joined BetterHelp I requested a therapist that was gay, male and over 45. With David I got two out of the three (he's male and over 45) and I couldn't have been more pleased. He's a great listener. I had to get comfortable talking and being listened to. He gave me so much useful, practical advice in dealing with my mother and moving forward from childhood trauma. The only reason I'm not continuing is because I found out my insurance pays for therapy. Thank you David!
I am a woman and was wondering if I could undergo personal therapy with a man, but Bradley has proven to be a great therapist with wisdom and a kind heart. He is a great listener and can piece together causes of things with only a few minutes of explaining your situation, and asks all the right questions. He is funny and smiles a lot, and despite him being a man, and our age gap, I feel he has been the most understanding therapist I’ve had yet. I look forward to continue to work with him!
Dave has been extremely helpful. Very understanding and great in direction.
He listens and cares I appreciate him helping me get better
