About Me

I help individuals and couples overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems and challenging behaviors. As a marriage and family therapist, I focus on helping both the individual and the family. I work with individuals and couples to understand and communicate their feelings, find more mastery over their choices and develop positive bonds with their family or loved ones. I work with families to strengthen bonds, support the growth and well-being and to resolve conflicts.
My therapeutic approach combines Solution-Focused Brief Therapy with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to create a strengths based platform to help resolve problems quickly and effectively. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I am so grateful for Dr. Christensen. I've personally been struggling with anger issues towards my adult son and some issues he's brought into our home. I am forever grateful for his tips and advice and how they've given me ideas for how to interact with my son as well as ideas to help alleviate stress and better manage my time to be an overall calmer person in my home.
