About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia and have been practicing for over 10 years. I have worked in multiple settings across the system of care in Georgia and as a result have worked with a wide variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, substance abuse as well as career and relationship issues. I recognize that each of us is faced with our own unique challenges and my role is to help you recognize your individual strengths that you possess in order to help you utilize your own special innate abilities to tackle the challenges you face today while also helping you equip yourself for those that may come down the road.

I am client-centered and maintain an existential approach to therapy utilizing empathy, compassion, warmth and understanding . I tailor my therapeutic approach to you and meet you where you are. Together we will work to face your specific needs and work in tandem to handle your times of fear, uncertainty, or worry. You are not alone in this and I applaud the courage you have taken to get here. I very much look forward to working with you to help you build your gifts and strengths on this journey.

David is an extremely professional therapist who knows how to get to know someone and be personable without crossing that line. I feel extremely at ease with him. He’s helped me through some major transitions in my life and with marriage issues after I returned from a long time away from home. Very thankful for his help.
