About me

I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with and support you. My passion for human services goes back to my childhood as I assisted with the operation of our family nursing home and therapeutic foster care. From there, I pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. As a young practitioner, I felt that wasn’t enough, as I was welcoming to the opportunity to be a positive, powerful impact in the lives of individuals and families I helped. So in 2010, I pursued my Master’s Degree in Social Work and subsequently obtaining my license to become a licensed clinical social worker. My special areas of interest and experience include but are not limited to trauma, grief and loss, military members and their dependents, depression, and anxiety. My work has extended across populations of children, couples, and families.

We all experience changes from day to day, our healthy functioning strongly depends on how we respond to those changes. It is my belief that there is a hope for healing for anyone willing to give the effort to make a change.
Everyone is capable of improving! I enjoy providing treatment with an open-minded approach to the issues that concern you the most.

As a clinician and mental health provider of more than 15 years combined experience, I am competent and prepared to provide the assistance and support needed for individuals to learn and develop healthy ways of coping with daily stresses, life changes, and other difficulties that affect mental and emotional well-being. I am committed to aiding those who have been marginalized, traumatized, or simply need to identify effective ways of coping with their lives. It is my profession to provide clinical counseling and it is my passion to see my patients live healthy, happy lives.
I utilize an array of various treatment approaches that would best fit your needs to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalytic Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
