About Me

Hello and welcome! I am so glad that you have made the decision to reach out. It can be hard to reach out to someone you don't know and ask for help.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I also hold the BC-TMH credential which means I have additional training in providing telemental health services. I have a Master's degree in marriage and family counseling. I hold a doctorate in psychology. I'm also a certified Health Coach with additional certification in weight management. I have extensive experience in the treatment of anxiety and stress management, health and wellness, weight management, personal coaching, motivation and confidence building, grief and loss.

My counseling style is relaxed and interactive. I believe that we each have the power to make positive changes in our lives and I honor and respect a client's right to choose their own path. While I draw from a number of approaches depending on the individual needs of the client, I tend to use a cognitive behavioral , solution-focused approach. We will develop a treatment plan that is unique to you and the goals you choose to work on.

I live and work in South Louisiana. When I'm not working, I enjoy writing, going to the gym and hanging out with my husband and my silly Black Lab Riley.

I am excited to start this journey of change with you and look forward to helping you in whatever it is that you wish to improve in your life!
