Aloha! I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in the state of Hawaii and the state of Massachusetts.
During my time as a therapist, I have had the privilege of working with many different people in a variety of settings in Massachusetts and many of the Hawaiian Islands. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and ADHD.
My approach is working in partnership with my clients by providing a warm, confidential environment and to tailor therapy unique to the individual. Clinical approach is strength and practice incorporates mindful psychology. Once a problem is identified, cognitive behavioral interventions are implemented to identify thinking errors, and restructure cognitive distortions with more adaptive responses, and prosocial behaviors that support positive change.
Currently based in Boston, MA ( and missing the consistent warm weather of the Islands), I am very family oriented and enjoy spending time in the city.
Sometimes asking for help is the bravest move you can make and you don't have to do it alone. If you are ready to take the next steps to a happier and more fulfilling life, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working together!

I can't stress enough how helpful and amazing Dawn has been to me.
When I started therapy, I was dealing with an eating disorder, low self-confidence, and strained family relationships. After working with Dawn for nearly six months, she has helped me mend my relationship with food, and additionally, helped me mend my relationship with my family members. She was always there for me and asked me questions that allowed for self-reflection and internal work. She took me through the journey of healing while being caring/considerate to my specific case. She never forgets details and always remembers personal things you've brought up in the past.
I can't recommend Dawn enough! She is a wonderful therapist. I'm so blessed to be working with her!
Her responses have been timely and her advice has made me start to look at myself in a way where I'm beginning to see solutions rather than problems.
So I was reluctant to even try BetterHelp but after working with Dawn for a bit she has definitely helped me to start working through my struggles. I would highly recommend her to anyone going through things. I’m so thankful for Dawn’s time and insight!
Dawn is an AMAZING counselor to work with! I've always enjoyed my sessions and I feel like I am heard with my issues approached respectfully. I was really hesitant at first to use this service but I was very lucky with the counselor I got chosen with. I struggle with GAD and a lot of stresses in my life. I'm impressed by Dawn's experience and able to help and provide coping skills to work with. I would absolutely 110% recommend Dawn!
I love my sessions with dawn! I had never tried any type of therapy before this and she completely blew my expectations out of the water! I feel I like I am better able to communicate my feelings to my partner. Its definitely become something I look forward to!
I have had several therapists before whom I was uncomfortable with, and felt almost a pressure to share my struggles with them. Dawn has never made me feel like I have to tell her anything, she respects when I am uncomfortable and gives me the space and encouragement I need to feel comfortable. I am so glad I found her and I am already feeling like I've made progress over the last few months.
Dawn is the best!
Dawn was a fantastic resource and advocate for my mental health . She helped me navigate stressful life situations and made me better-equipped to handle my anxiety. I would absolutely recommend working with her.
Dawn has been absolutely wonderful through our time together! She has helped me through breakups and housing mishaps and all sorts of things that would have been too painful to go through alone. She truly cares and checks up on me regularly and I can’t recommend her enough!
Dawn was kind, considerate and thoughtful. She helped me through a really tough time with honesty, practical sense and a little hand-holding. She was amazing!
She’s super nice and personable and I feel like I can talk to her about anything.
It’s very early in the therapy process. She’s let me take my time and been patient with me and not pushy. She’s been lovely and I’d recommend her and have already recommended betterhelp to others!
Being new to this level of communication Dawn has been very responsive, supportive and an excellent advocate.
Dawn is incredibly detailed and to the point. She helps you by not telling you what you want to hear but what you need to hear. Fantastic person who always looks for your best interest.
Dawn is an actual star. She's attentive, thoughtful, and so practical in her counseling. From day one, she seemed to understand the type of help I needed and wanted, and since she's provided a lot of applicable tactics and observant feedback to help me through my day.
I’ve only had 2 sessions with Dawn but her advice is already helping me with my anxiety and helping me to become more of a positive person!
Dawn is amazing. Before BetterHelp, I'd been looking for in-person therapy for about a year and a half. In that time, I'd had a concussion and had been shuffled around from emergency room to emergency room, and hadn't gotten the proper help I'd needed until much later. Months after I'd gotten basic medical care did I eventually get a response from a hospital, willing to let me apply for DBT. I had 8 sessions and they didn't go well, and my applications to 12 other therapists had gone unanswered or were unavailable to help because of my insurance. Finally i found better help, and I'd gone through two therapists on BetterHelp that I hadn't clicked with before finding Dawn. My first therapist just asked me to share everything and didn't respond or give me much engaged feedback, and the second therapist only recommended meditation and exercise. No one touched the real issues that were there, and the process was incredibly frustrating. Then I found Dawn. Dawn is AMAZING. If you're reading this and you're having a hard time, please know that I'm trying to do my good deed of the day by sharing how incredible she is and risking her not having as much time for me because she's been an angel and everyone should know. Dawn listens to what I'm saying and then asks me how I feel, what I'm thinking, and then we work through the problem by identifying the core issue instead of just slapping proverbial bandaids on the problem and pretending it's better. She's also really personable - sometimes I get nervous talking about things but I've never felt like I was talking to the "Freud-lying on the couch- 'this is all because of your mother'" type therapist - she's really sweet and warm, and I have no trouble opening up. As crappy as the process was to find her, I'd do it again because I really think I've found someone that can help.
Working with Dawn has been like working with a good (and very knowledgable) friend. We have come full circle with everything we have started talking about from day 1. She understands, she can easily relate and she has a great attitude. She always lets me finish my train of thought even if she has to wait to say hers because she wants to make sure that she's heard everything you have to say, and that you can also reflect on the things you say. She has all the right questions, i didn’t think i would get this much out of this app after my first failed counsellor but Dawn proved me wrong.
Dawn is absolutley awesome! She is a fantastic listener, and responds to what I am talking about at the most appropriate times. She is very kind and easy to talk to.
Dawn is great! Having someone to talk to is amazing, and her being so young still gives her another advantage when talking about anxieties I've had with the start of my adult life. I really feel like she listens to and responds extremely well to everything I say!
Dawn has a great schedule, and is very easy to talk to. She was receptive to my needs and let me work at my own pace.
