About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, dually licensed in Georgia and North Carolina. I have 8 years experience working in Mental Health. I have worked with clients with a variety of concerns including, anxiety, depression, parenting, relationship issues, anger management, ADHD, PTSD, and phase of life changes/transition. I am also a certified Trauma-Focused Therapist (TF-CBT).

My counseling style is simple: I believe in meeting people where they are, and creating a dialog and treatment plan that meet your specific needs. My counseling approach includes cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused counseling.

It can be really scary to open up and share personal feelings/emotions, and experiences. I applaud your willingness to be open and take steps towards achieving that desired change.
I am here to support and empower, and I look forward to working with you!!

I am an anxious person but she makes me feel very comfortable when talking to her. I feel like she really takes the time to assess what I’m saying and give me helpful feedback.

Dawn Williams is a amazing counselor. she really listen to what you have to say and really cares about what you are going through. i love the sessions that i have with her because she allows you to open up to her and when the session is over you feel better about yourself.

Dawn Williams is a blessing to have! As a Hispanic female Christian in a multiracial and multicultural marriage, it can be very hard to find the right person who can understand how I view the world from my experiences. Dawn totally gets me, has a way of bringing humor in an appropriate, professional way to even the most stressful days, and is just overall a good, objective, compassionate counselor. I highly recommend!

Some time back, I was matched with a counselor by the name of Dawn Williams. Dr. Williams has really assisted me with how to use and take control of my perspectives and I was able to open up about some challenges with her that I wouldn't share with others. I highly recommend her for anyone seeking another point of view and I'm forever grateful for her time.

Dawn is fantastic! In the short period we’ve been together she knows how to help me grow and challenge myself to achieve my goals initially outlined with her. When not achieving a goal by one approach she’s able to suggest alternatives within my comfort zone. I highly recommend her!

Dawn Williams is a great councilor, she was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. She went above and beyond by not only talking through my issues but helping solve them by researching information that I couldn’t have found on my own, like application forms and phone numbers for doctors etc. She’s very genuine.

Work with me!
