About me

I am a qualified counsellor based in the United Kingdom with over five years of professional experience. I have supported clients through trauma, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, and sexual abuse, as well as drug and alcohol addiction, grief and bereavement, and the complexities of loss by suicide. I also work with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, family dynamics, self-esteem concerns, and the impact of stress on daily life. I have experience supporting clients from LGBTQ+ communities, including those exploring identity, sexuality, and gender. I strive to offer a safe and inclusive space for everyone.

My style is creative and psychotherapeutic, and rooted in respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I draw on a range of modalities that can be adapted to suit your specific needs. This may include reflective dialogue, creative techniques, and practical tools to help you explore your experiences in a safe and meaningful way. I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored, offering space for both insight and healing.

It takes courage to reach out and take steps toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. I am here to walk alongside you in that process, offering support and empowerment as you discover new ways forward.

Debbie is extremely personable, patient and professional. This is my first time seeking therapy and I was apprehensive at first, but Debbie has made the process and sessions inclusive, judgement free and has given me the confidence to express myself freely. I highly recommend Debbie to anyone who struggles to express themselves, puts others first and who may think that therapy isn’t for them - therapy is a great way to look after yourself.

This is my first time doing therapy so I have been quite nervous to open up to someone as I’ve been very private particularly the last few years but feeling confident in the support and really appreciate having Debbie there to listen, she really is down to earth and supportive of my healing so thank you
