When you’re trying to get to the next level in career, school, or just life in general, it can really suck to get blocked by relationship issues, burnout, lack of focus, or confusing self-doubt. The good news is, there are so many things you can do to make change happen, and feel better. I specialize in helping creatives, leaders, students, and really anyone who needs some extra support in the process personal development. Counseling is like taking a class on yourself.
I truly enjoy offering empathetic feedback and support. I believe that healing occurs when we both create an inviting space for change.
You have already taken a step toward feeling better by looking here for help. I would be honored to join you on your next step.
You can vent to me about whatever is on your mind. I will listen, and with the information you share with me, I will look for ways to help you feel more empowered about the things going on in your life. We will start new habits, identify goals, revamp, rewrite, recreate, redefine, and move toward acceptance, too! My common methods of support and theories are: Emotional regulation, brief interventions, feminist, solution based, behavioral, person-in-environment, trauma-informed, attachment lens.
My Services: I try to respond within 24 hours, but this is not exact. You can schedule one 30 minute to 50 minute session each week to talk on video.
INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS: I see clients from all over the world, and truly love doing so. However I can't practice in some countries due to regulations and license rules. When you are paired with me, I look up the regulations for your country. I have found that most countries allow it but unfortunately, I cannot accept Canadian clients at this time.

Debby replies in a timely manner. If you do not reply she continues to message and check in which is really nice to have. She gives good advice and tries to find alternative ways to deal with problems, taking into account what you would prefer. She helps with all types of problems that I didn’t expect but i’m glad I have this app and a great counsellor to help me.
When I first found out about BetterHelp, I was very hesitant because I just thought "What if this is a waste of money?" or "How reliable will this person be?". I literally just took a chance and dove in feet first and subscribed to the whole process and let me tell you I will NOT regret it. Debby has been responding to my messages at a time that I normally know she would be best available at and even scheduling me in for weekly video checks to allow me to figure out my mess. She checks in to see how I am doing on some days but also provides me with worksheets, meditation tracks and even books to read about what I should really direct my attention to.
Debby is wonderful. I only had one video session with her but I look forward to having more and more so we can work on getting me back a better and manageable life. She listens, helps me understand my emotions and behavior and even encourages me on how I feel. I recommend her!
I joined due to massive stress during my startup on top of general depressions I'm suffering since my childhood. Debby and I "clicked" after the first few messages and we're in contact / therapy for almost 2 months now and I haven't been that balanced and happy ever before (while still working around 18-24 hours a day 7 days a week). I tried three psychiatrists in my country over the past 15 years and every one made it a bit worse.
I highly recommend her. HIGHLY.
Debby has been fantastic in the brief period I have known her. She really listens and relates, supports and explores. I would highly recommend :D
