About me

With more than 40 years experience in the mental health field, I have served the Las Vegas Valley community since 2004, specializing in creative stress management solutions for adults and seniors. I offer a unique combination of mind/body techniques to enhance self awareness and empower people to take charge of their mental and physical health.
Using a wide variety of tools to help you quiet your mind and pay better attention, you can learn to reduce symptoms of fight or flight & muscle tension & better understand what triggers panic, anxiety & feelings of helplessness in your daily life. As we make our way thru this COVID crisis and unprecedented era of chronic illnesses, I can also help you sort thru feelings of trauma, loss & anger left behind.
I believe knowledge is power and strive to make people feel listened to with humor, personalized treatment planning and down to earth conversation. As a parent of two grown children with special needs, one with bipolar disorder, the other with Aspergers I can also relate personally to the challenges facing families.

I call Debra the "overacheiver whisperer". She speaks to me in the way that I need and has helped me gain a lot of perspective on my challenges. I really enjoy working with her.

Debra was my first therapist. I was a bit skeptical at first, but after speaking with her, she gave me a brief overview of what therapy sessions would be like with her. After a brief introduction, she asked me what brought me to her? She listened and proceeded to begin to understand me. She challenged the way I was thinking. I really appreciate all the help she has given me.
