About me

Hi, my name is Dee Jones and I am licensed in the state of Texas as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I believe every single human being is created with value, purpose, and potential. Sometimes those get locked up in grief, depression, negative thinking, negative emotions, or destructive behavior patterns.

I have a passion for helping people unlock healing and growth so they can share the best version of themselves with the world. I especially enjoy working with and empowering women to know and love themselves in a way that reflects confidence and positively influences those around them. I lived overseas for several years, so I understand the challenges of relocating to a new place and starting all over, as well as cultural and language barriers. In addition to years of experience in individual and family counseling on a variety of relational and personal issues, I have training in and experience working with pastors, ministry leaders, church planters, missionaries, and church leadership teams.

I use a variety of therapy modalities and techniques. However, family systems can be found at the core of how I approach therapy. I have a passion for counseling and personal development. Even after fifteen years in this profession, I am just as excited as I was when I first started.

I look forward to working with, supporting, and encouraging you toward your personal goals.

Dee helped me through one of the most difficult seasons of my life - and I can honestly say my own progress through it was largely because of our sessions. Dee is authentic, inspiring, and genuine. She listens like a friend but guides your thoughts like a professional with a great deal of insight and experience. She gave me a lot to think about between sessions and held me accountable for my progress. Dee knows how someone in a tough season needs compassion and empathy but also wisdom and motivation. She never judged me; in fact, she often validated my feelings about the situation I was in and helped me understand what someone in my journey typically experiences. I can’t recommend her enough and I couldn’t be more grateful for all she did to help me weather my own storm. If you need an inspiring, authentic motivator who lends a caring ear and helps you find your path to greatness - look no further.

Dee and I have had 3 sessions so it's early days, and she has already impressed me with her authenticity, openness and genuine heartfelt care that bleeds through our conversations. In our sessions I have felt a depth of compassion from her that has helped me to feel safe to release deeply buried hurt I desperately needed to heal from. She has been just what I needed right now in my life.
