About Me

Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has a passion to help individuals improve their quality of life and well-being. I have over 2 decades worth of experience helping individuals with varying issues such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, work and school issues, relationship issues, family conflicts, and phase of life issues.

My counseling style is warm, empowering, and collaborative. I help individuals define what happiness means to them and how to achieve happiness with sustainable actions that will help them achieve just that. I help individuals to understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so that they have a clearer understanding of what can drive their behaviors from moment to moment. I incorporate mindfulness into my practice to help individuals increase awareness of the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may hinder one's progress. I believe one must take one step at a time and celebrate each step forward (whether big or small). I also believe that each individual has his or her own strengths and skills, as well as limitations. I meet individuals where they are with what they have.

This may seem scary to reach out to a stranger for help. You are not alone with feeling this way. However, you are taking an important step toward improving your quality of life and well-being just by reaching out to find a therapist. When you are ready, I am here for you.

I would be happy to help you achieve your happiness.

I respect her working style and trust her methods. As a psych nurse myself, I appreciate her approaches and communication skills. She is a very educated and professional woman. Very smooth transitions of conversation topics as well as positive abstract ways of thinking that opens new avenues of thought and emotions to be discovered.
