About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Georgia. I have over ten years of experience providing therapy to children, teens, adults, and older adults. I have worked with those suffering from depression, anxiety, separation anxiety, parenting, relationship issues, and adjustment disorders. I have extensive experience in working with trauma and relationship issues.

My therapy style uses talk therapy while throwing in relaxation techniques, trauma focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. I believe everyone is different and just because one person responds well to one type of therapy doesn’t mean everyone will and I adjust my therapeutic approach to each individual.

I work on a holistic approach and work with the whole person (mind, body, spirit, and social deterrents).

I was satisfied with the sessions at first, for all that they were never longer than 30 minutes, and I would've kept at it, if the therapist didn't just stop responding. Two booked sessions fell through, the last one without any explanation whatsoever. Would not recommend.

As much as I’ve enjoyed our brief conversations, they’ve been that, brief. All sessions have been 7-32 minutes when it was my understanding I was allotted 45. A lot of our sessions feel more like friend conversations without much guidance or advice. There have been talks of information or ideas to be sent my way however they were not. That being said , I have made some progress in our sessions but I feel that’s a result of me saying these things out loud and actually reflecting on them , and not a product of the therapy itself.
