My name is Diana Gruhl, LCSW-C. I am a Licensed Certified Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of social work experience and 7 years of counseling experience. I have a strong background providing counseling and support for adults and seniors with life challenges, especially in medical, health care, and residential settings. I have experience helping individuals with stress and anxiety, depression, life transitions, aging, coping with chronic illness (ESRD, diabetes), memory loss, grief, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, and goal-setting/problem solving. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I use a collaborative, mindfulness, strengths-based, solution-focused approach to empower clients toward meeting their goals. My primary modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
