Dr. Diana Wilcox


About Me

I have over 14 years of experience working with clients. I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I completed my APA-approved internship year at Maimondies Medical Center and Community Mental Center in Brooklyn, NY. I am a very caring and compassionate psychologist. My approach is client-centered, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and insight-oriented. I have worked with clients of all ages, and am especially skilled in improving confidence and self-esteem, handling depression, stress, anxiety, overcoming grief, and improving parenting skills.

I believe that the most important goals in therapy are to understand and to love yourself better, and to understand and love others better. I believe in respecting the client, and in respecting the direction that they want to take in therapy. I will help you to address issues that have been bothering you, and help you to cast off your burdens so that you can live a fulfilled life, overflowing with love, happiness, and prosperity!

Dr. Wilcox is wonderful. So caring and kind. She doesn’t judge, and her intentions are always in the best interests of others. I love how she incorporates bible verses with her advice. I feel so comfortable talking with her. Definitely recommend!
