My Background and Experience:

My name is Dina Taylor. I am a licensed Marriage, Family, Child Therapist in the state of California.

For the past twenty-nine years I have been providing therapy for individuals, couples (traditional and non-traditional), families, groups, and Deaf/Hard of Hearing clients (I am fluent in American Sign Language). Along with maintaining a private practice, I have spent the last twelve years supervising and educating interns who are training to become licensed therapists.
I have received feedback from clients over the years that traditional therapy in a therapist's office can feel a bit formal. About fifteen years ago, I took the advice of my clients, broke with tradition, and began to offer clients therapy sessions in the comfort of their own homes and apartments. The responses I received were overwhelmingly positive. I now primarily provide in-home therapy both in-person and online.
I work collaboratively with clients using solution-focused modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, developing and enhancing coping skills, and learning healthy communication techniques. I work alongside my clients to assist them in defining their goals, taking steps to meet those goals, and finding ways to adapt and find meaning in life's challenges.
