About Me

As we journey through life we often encounter obstacle that interfere with our ultimate goals of happiness and well-being. At those times we look for those who have the knowledge, experience and compassion to help us through our journey.

Starting this process has taken a lot of courage. During this time you will be spending a lot of time and energy looking at yourself, getting to know yourself, and most importantly learning to understand yourself. You will be learning the skills to make your life happier and healthier. You may be experiencing a great amount of pain or may feel numb. Both can be very normal emotions at this time. With time I hope that you will begin to not only heal the emotional pain but also to grow as an individual. One of the things you’ll be doing to accomplish your goals is sharing yourself with me, and being open and honest about the person you are and the person you hope to become. For you to be able to do this, it is important that you feel comfortable with me and believe that you can trust me.

I have been a licensed mental health counselor in Florida for 25 years providing quality mental health services to those seeking to heal, improve and change what they can through psychotherapy. My style is warm and compassionate. While I find that cognitive behavioral therapy is highly effective I will adjust your treatment to your needs and your strengths.

I look forward to beginning our work together!
