The growth I have received over the year is amazing. To be in the field and to have a therapist that gets me and allows me to work through my yucks is amazing.

Ms. Rogers always listens with an open heart. She makes it clear that she's hearing what I'm saying and asks for clarification when it is needed. She validates my feelings, and points out some of the things that are really deep or that maybe matter more in what I've said than what I've even realized. She is never at all judgmental, but supportive and encourages me to look into myself, learn who I am and what I desire and be true to myself. She remembers details that I have told her about things that have happened and my own description of the kind of person I am. I've had therapists before who don't seem to do that, where it feels like they've forgotten who I am week to week. Ms Rogers makes me feel like a valued person that she cares for and takes the time to form a bond with. She's an excellent therapist, and I feel I have made more progress with her in a few short weeks than I did in previous months with other counselors.
