About me

Welcome! Something in your life has initiated this search for support and you have come to the right place. I admire that courage. It takes a wise person to seek out counseling support in getting the life they want and I want to help you get there. I am very excited to have the opportunity to connect with you and support you to the best of my abilities. To get started I wanted to let you know a little about myself as it is important to me to know a little bit about who you are entrusting to let into your life.

I have a master’s degree in counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University (2017) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have had 4 years working with an array of clients at a Domestic Violence shelter, family counseling center, and Crisis support. Through these experiences I truly have been able to help clients identify their own needs and help them through fostering a sense of emotional support during very trying life events. I have helped clients of all ages overcome an array of concerns such as transitional life events, anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, suicidal thoughts, and grief. In these experiences I have had the honor to be a part of people’s lives in vulnerable times to help them grow and not only overcome life events or challenges but helping them foster a sense of resilience.

My counseling style is warm and engaging and I truly believe in the power of empathy by truly being present with another person to fully understand them in an unconditional regard for who they are. My approach is based on the Adlerian therapy that is focused on helping individuals identify goals and whole person health. I believe all individuals can make positive decisions. I hope to help you gain confidence and support you through different life trials by challenging any fears or doubts to help you become the best version of yourself.

I can’t wait to continue to support you and help you draw the map to your next stop in life! I look forward to working with you!
