About me

Hi,
My name is Donna. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I’ve worked in mental health for 18 years. I have experience working with individuals, families, and couples. I’ve helped clients with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, loss, and trauma. As a therapist I believe our physical health and relationships are connected to our mental health. Everyone deserves to be heard and supported. I offer traditional counseling as well as Christian counseling.
Since I graduated from the University of Texas Permian Basin in 2004, I’ve worked in hospitals, clinics, schools, and treatment centers. My counseling style can best be described as eclectic, I’ve been trained in cognitive behavioral, anger resolution, and trauma.
The thing I love most about counseling is seeing people heal and achieve their goals.
I look forward to meeting you!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Donna Carrasco. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I have enjoyed communicating with Ms Carrasco, it feels good to open up to someone who knows how to respond back to everything thing that I say. I haven’t spoken to anyone about any of my concerns my whole life and I hope letting it all out will help get through these tough times.

Donna is great with checking in and helping me through the grief process. We talk about homework and potential ways to honor my husband, things I can do to work through the difficulties that are challenging me right now. She's awesome!
