About me

I am a counselor with a passion to help others recover from psychological and life issues, specializing in addiction. I hold a Master’s of Social Work and I am licensed as a clinical therapist in Alabama and Mississippi. I possess over 15 years of counseling and 20+ years of case management experience. My primary desire is to help people find real freedom from the chokeholds of life, especially alcoholism and addiction, but also self-esteem and grief issues, depression and anxiety, relationship problems, and spiritual struggles. As a Christian professional for many years, I have seen firsthand the challenges of life; for struggling couples, dysfunctional families, and hurting individuals. I utilize a wide array of psychological and spiritual tools to help others determine the cause of their problems, find hope in realistic solutions, and experience true and lasting freedom. Methods of treatment include CBT, DBT, Solution-focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness.
