About me

Thanks for choosing to put your mental health first. I am Dysheka Bibbs a dually licensed clinician in the states of NC and SC as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Certified Addiction Specialist. I am a Board Certified TeleMealth Health Provider and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. Please note: Eating disorders, any form of an addiction (out side of drug and alcohol), obsessives/compulsion behaviors and somatic/chronic pain is out of my scope.

With over a decade of professional experience in the mental health and substance abuse field working with adults (citizens, veterans and active duty servicemen and women) I know firsthand the importance of living a healthy. My philosophy is each people have a unique innate ability to discover and learn new skills, so I create an authentic environment that accommodates each individual’s needs, while cultivating a heuristic approach.

By utilization Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Strength Base Approach, Trauma Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, and Person Center Approach I guide and support individuals through personal life challenges.

My goal is to help individuals identify unhealthy coping habits and/or life style choices and replace them with healthy habits and/or choices. In order to make this transition successful I encourage self-reliance, which allows the individual to build on their strengths, so they can embark on a transformative healing journey.
