About me
Hi! I'm Eddie Dee Williams, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Georgia. I believe that I am the counselor for you, to help you navigate through life's circumstances and help you find the solutions you're looking for!
I graduated from Valdosta State University with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2011, and have been licensed since 2017. My work experience ranges from home-based therapy, case management, psychiatric hospital trauma care, and prison counseling. I have worked with individuals, couples, children, and families from a host of backgrounds, even military. I have assisted clients with struggles with anxiety, grief, loss, relationship strains, depression, loneliness, spirituality, and trauma. My work has also given me the opportunity to assist others with making major life choices and creating detailed plans on how to achieve their goals.
My orientation is rooted in targeting circumstances that define clients' lives, and guiding clients to discover new perspectives for living in thriving in the world. Utilizing this approach, I facilitate change by offering clients opportunities to view their situations differently and creating meaningful, enduring change.
