Edward Langford, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Connecticut with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology. If you are feeling overwhelmed by the demands of the day, my services aim to introduce clarity and self-motivation. Together we will practice techniques to better manage the emotional stressors and triggers that can be present in our daily lives. I have experience dedicated to providing mental health services to adults, as well as adolescents and their families.
I have worked with individuals who have faced a wide range of mental health issues, such as; PTSD, anxiety, depression, attachment and relationship difficulties, problems with perfectionism, and academic stress. Based on your needs, I will incorporate different methods into your sessions, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, talk therapy and solution-focused approaches. Special focus is also given to self-care.
Weekend, evening, and early appointment times are available to fit your busy schedule.
I look forward to working with you.
