About me
Are you finding yourself stuck in challenging situations, repeating the same mistakes over and over again? Are you searching for peace and it always seems to escape you? With the use of various therapeutic interventions, we can work together to help you resolve the issues impacting your life.
With 10+ years of experience in the field of Social Work, I have treated individuals who experienced childhood trauma, grief and loss, combat trauma, sexual assault, and domestic violence. I have successfully helped them and their families build a strong foundation for long term management of their mental health needs.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the District of Columbia and I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and Masters Degree in Social Work from Howard University, Washington, D.C. I am trained in EMDR, Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Solution Focus Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I specializes in treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), grief and loss, self esteem issues, mood disorders, and anxiety.
I believe in creating a healthy therapeutic bond that will allow individuals to feel safe to open up and explore the areas that are causing distress. We will work together to develop a treatment plan that is right for you and where you feel you can achieve the most success.
I look forward to working with you.
