About Me

Hello, and thank you for your interest in my profile and practice. Seeking therapy can be a scary process, and many people are hesitant for a number of reasons. Whether you are dealing with unusually stressful life events, thinking about making changes in your life or relationships, or have been dealing with problematic anxiety or depression for a while, it can be very productive to meet with someone. It is important to find someone with experience, who you can trust, and who is warm and accepting but will also challenge you think outside the box from time to time.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in cognitive - behavioral therapy and mindfulness and acceptance based approaches for a variety of presenting problems. I also received advanced training in Gottman Method couples counseling which can help you learn to manage conflict and rekindle fondness and admiration with you partner.

He is very respectful and understanding. He lets me vent and I feel heard.

Dr. Cohen replies quickly, he is compassionate and has show to be knowledgeable in this field and surrounding ones that may arise in therapy like anxiety (or great advice where to find resources) . I would highly recommend Dr. Cohen, a skilled professional to a friend or collegue.

Dr. Cohen makes me feel completely at ease to express myself openly without any fear of judgement. It's like I'm talking to my friend and I can totally trust his opinion and advice because it's professional!
