I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the State of North Carolina with experience working with clients with a wide variety of concerns, which consist of depression, anxiety, relationship issues, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, domestic abuse, sexual assault, and alternative lifestyles.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and rational-emotive perspectives. I believe in expressing empathy, warmth, and genuineness in our sessions to help build trust.

We have been going for two weeks and have had two calls but the experience so far has been very good. I feel Mikki listens to me and offers encouragement while asking questions that push me just outside my comfort zone. I think this is exactly what I need.
