About me

Hello, welcome to betterhelp and on an important step to wellness. I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I have over 20 years of mental health experience, primarily in Washington State, and now Utah. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University and my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Eastern Washington University. I have experience working in multiple inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings.
I am compassionately committed to helping clients improve self-awareness and growing their capacity to enhance relationships and resiliency. I believe that the therapeutic process is relationship centered. I strive to cultivate a strong working relationship with my clients that includes mutual respect, authenticity, acceptance, and genuineness. I utilize an integration of empirically supported treatments in my work (AEDP, ACT, CBT, DBT, Existential, Interpersonal, and the Gottman Method for couples).

Elizabeth is awesome! I can confidently say that I always leave our sessions feeling way better than when we started. She is very understanding and makes you feel extremely heard. She always sends great, relevant resources and even after only a few sessions, I feel very comfortable opening up to her. She is great at understanding what my goals are with therapy and I already feel like she’s helping improve my life.
