I am a licensed Psychologist with over 27 year in private practice. I feel confident in my ability to assess my patient's strengths as well as their difficulties. I feel confident in my ability to come up with the most workable treatment plan,. I have been trained in a variety of approaches for treatment, and have also participated in continuing education to stay current in the field. Early in my career I worked for the NYPD, assessing candidates suitability, but more importantly, doing trauma debriefings for the officers who had witnessed various upsetting situations. I believe that I can evaluate strengths as well as concerns fairly easily; I feel confident that if we work together you will most likely discover things about yourself that you may not have considered as important enough in regard to mental health.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals, from diverse backgrounds, and with a multitude of issues. The feedback I almost always receive is that I am easy to speak with, a good listener, and overall respectful.

Dr. Ciara into has helped me in my darkest times and although there may be times that the things we talk about get repetitive, she still helped me with kindness and patience.
After being with her for a little over 2 years, she has gifted me resources and helped me get my anxiety, depression, amongst other things under a manageable routine. I am happy to say that I have graduated from therapy :)
