Elizabeth Crouse

About Me

Greetings and Welcome to Our Community! My name is Elizabeth and I am a clinical social worker. I am licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker in WV (LICSW) and Clinical Social Worker in VA (LCSW). I received my clinical licensure in 2015 and I have been in the mental health field providing therapy since 2011. I have worked with children as well as adults in a multitude of settings and I have significant experience in the child welfare and foster care system. I have also provided couples therapy. My treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I have worked with people with addiction issues, anxiety, depression, PTSD, conflict resolution and relationship issues. My specialty is trauma and how it affects the person and the supports around that person.

My counseling approach is goal-oriented and respectful. I also use re-framing and reflection to help with different issues for making progress. I think it's very important to find someone who you feel comfortable with and connect with to guide and support you through your journey and take steps toward meeting your goals.

It can be very difficult to ask for help when you need it. Everyone needs help at some point in their life and I would love to work with you!
