Elizabeth Davis, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with over 14 years of experience as a school counselor and care coach. I have worked mostly in the school setting with various age groups, but I have also done some work through my church where I provided individual sessions and led groups for single parents and blended families. I have worked with clients that have a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, family/relationship issues, parenting challenges and the unique set of circumstances that come with blending families. I have also helped individuals that have experienced trauma in many forms including but not limited to abuse, the loss of a loved one and abandonment issues.
My therapy approach is client-centered and non-judgmental. I believe there is a root cause for every behavior or emotion and am passionate about helping my clients find that cause and work through it. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques which include cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, family systems, and trauma-informed counseling. Above anything else, I will treat you with respect and understanding, getting to know what makes you unique. We will work together to build a plan that focuses on your specific needs.
I am so glad that you are seeking a more fulfilling life. It is not easy to address challenges, but you are doing it! If you are ready to take the next step, I would be happy to be a part of that journey with you.

Elizabeth is amazing! She is very attentive, caring, compassionate, helpful, and remembers small details and stories. I was very fortunate to be matched with her for therapy. She is warm and welcoming, and very easy to talk to. As someone who never had therapy before signing up for BetterHelp. I was very nervous, but meeting Elizabeth made everything a lot easier and less nerve-racking. It was very easy to open up to her! Now I look forward to talk to her on a weekly basis!
