Individual therapy provides an open space to fully process what is going on for you without judgment. It is the only space where you are centered and focus completely on your own needs. The people I have had the pleasure to work with are often in a transitional period of their life and feel stuck working through it on their own. Sometimes it is their first time in therapy and other folks have been before and find themselves in a similarly difficult time where old patterns popped back up. Other people benefit from ongoing therapeutic for longer periods in their life. I am a flexible clinician who will meet you where you are at and help you work towards your future goals. Not all folks fit a significant mental health disorder, sometimes it is just multiple life changes at once, a brief difficulty with self-esteem, or bigger emotions than you are used to. People I have worked with may fit criteria for the following issues: depression, anxiety, bipolar, chronic illness, sexual dysfunctions (including painful sex, low desire, erectile disorder, achieving orgasm too quickly, or not at all, STI diagnoses, sexual identity and/or orientation exploration, difficulty communicating with partners, partners who have mental health disorders, self esteem, and body image challenges.
I work well with people who tend to value thinking over feeling but recognize this isn't helpful for them across their lives. I am passionate about helping people recognize their various feelings designed to help people survive and learn to manage them in authentic and deeper ways. I also am a good fit for folks who want to do homework in between our conversations to help them see the benefits in their daily lives. I am also good at slowing down with the people who are lacking the motivation to do homework and need more to work up towards active pursuit of their goals.

This being my first experience with anything like this. Libby has eased me in perfectly. She is calm and I really enjoy the questions she asks and she listens to what I need/want. She is very personable and easy to talk to, which can be tough when your spilling your guts out to a complete stranger. I would totally Recommend her to anyone!
Elizabeth has been great! She has been supportive, challenging and caring through my recent journey. When I think things are going well and I seem to fall off the radar she checks in on me and asks how the items we’ve been working on are progressing. Glad I was paired with her!
Elizabeth is by far my favorite counselor to date. She listens but is also highly aware of when to interject to bring her observations to light. She offers a variety of approaches to try and get the most out of sessions and message exchanges. She is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to try and understand my vantage point and what may be going on based on the information I share with her. She is not judgmental at all yet does a great job exploring possible blind spots I may have. She also allows me to go at my own pace when it comes to what to share & how much to share, but again, does a great job in helping analyze things that even I may have been having trouble identifying. Overall she brings a calm, friendly, and well informed demeanor to our sessions & I am grateful for her and her expertise.
Libby is great! She listens well and has a great way of reframing my ways of thinking. She helps me catch unhelpful or denigrating thought patterns and gain a different way of looking at situations so that I'm equipped with the tools to tackle problems on my own.
In the short time I've worked with Elizabeth, I've learned about myself in ways that have been truly profound. I can't say enough about how skilled she is. She strikes a perfect balance between being knowledgeable and authoritative (i.e., I feel that I can really trust her guidance and insight), while also being empathetic and kind in a way that isn't judgmental of me or anyone involved in my life.
