These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Elizabeth Lee. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Elizabeth has a very open, honest and human approach. She shows empathy and is non judgmental. She is professional and I enjoy our sessions.
I had tried therapy a couple of times in the past, but it didn’t stick until I started doing sessions with Lizzie. She is a wonderful therapist and person - I felt very comfortable with her from the beginning and she expertly walks the line between being personable and professional. If you are looking for a therapist who is totally non-judgmental, approaches anything you bring with empathy and who celebrates your wins and helps you reframe your ‘losses’, I couldn’t recommend Lizzie enough.
After having therapy with a different therapist and not really hitting it off and not feeling it, I opted to change and came across Lizzie’s profile. Instantly I felt comfortable and was truly able to share the things happening in my life and Lizzie helped me navigate the hills and valleys of life, with her down to earth attitude I didn’t feel judged of what I said or the decisions I made. Thanks Lizzie ☺️
Elizabeth has been unbelievably helpful throughout the past five months. So grateful to have meet her.
Lizzie has been a great therapist and really helped me resolve my issues and giving me the skills to cope in the future.
Lizzie has truly been a lifeline for me these past few weeks - I needed an objective perspective on a few issues that I’m dealing with in my life at the moment. From the moment we started talking I felt so comfortable with Lizzie and able to freely talk to her. I highly recommend Lizzie and would definitely seek her help again in the future - I also found the messaging feature a bonus being able to check in between appointments with a question or just to let out my feelings. Thanks again Lizzie :)
I just completed my first session and I really enjoyed it. I felt really comfortable talking to Elisabeth and she made me feel comfortable and listened too. I’m looking forward to have more sessions. :)
In 2 months working with Lizzie I made more progress than I thought was possible! Her knowledge and genuine care for her clients meant that every session was worthwhile and that I always felt safe and comfortable speaking my mind. Lizzie's awareness and ability to challenge client's thoughts and beliefs meant that my problems were always tackled at the root, and I can't thank her enough for giving me the tools to help get myself back on track.
Lizzie helped me come back to myself.
She somehow managed to create a space where I felt heard, seen and safe to talk honestly, without judgement.
In this space, I was able to work through my trauma and the narratives I had developed which were keeping me stuck and very sad.
She made me feel validated and empowered enough to begin challenging my limiting beliefs and to see the light again - to feel like I am worthy and I am able to do things differently.
She guided me through the process by fully listening to me and then offering me new perspectives, concepts and tools that I could implement to create the shifts I needed.
Thank you for helping me <3
Lizzie is a lovely friendly lady. She is very encouraging and understanding. She really helped me feel more empowered and confident in managing difficult life circumstances.
Where do I start! I have been to therapy before and my experience has been lacklustre however Lizzie has been absolutely amazing so far. She listens to you with intent and makes you realise things about yourself. The guidance has been extremely helpful and I love the way Lizzie conceptualises things to make it digestible in a way which matches how you understand the world. I’m looking forward to more sessions with her! Thanks so much Lizzie :)
Lizzie has honestly been everything and more I could have hoped for in a therapist. I came to her four weeks ago in a total funk and she met me with so much empathy, compassion and also practical tips and coping strategies. Her expertise and deftness at explaining scientific concepts to do with mental health coupled with her ability to translate for the layperson (ie me, the least scientifically minded person possible) has been a total revelation for me. I couldn't recommend her highly enough - I am already feeling so much better and couldn't have done it without her help.
I didn’t have much confidence in therapy as I’d done it a few times before but talking to Lizzie has been amazing, she’s so understanding and kind and so human, she doesn’t give lip service or talk in riddles she just says it as it is while encouraging you to understand yourself. She talks about the science and psychology to help you understand what’s going on in your head and she listens to everything so she can link up possibilities of why you think the way you do. I couldn’t recommend her more she’s brilliant :)
I can only speak personally, but even through these limited number of interactions, I feel better in myself, I don’t feel as locked in and generally have a much better outlook. All done with a easy to understand approach and real life examples.
Elizabeth is a very caring therapist she always responds back very quickly even if I don't have a session with her!
