About Me

I am a psychotherapist licensed in Florida with over 10 years of experience  in the field of mental health. I understand that each person and situation is unique, and adapt my approach to help most effectively. I have experience treating clients with a wide range of concerns. Some issues I treat include depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, stress, addiction, personality disorders, mood disorders and behavioral issues. I have worked with clients of many different racial, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds and strive to tailor my approach to each individual clients needs and circumstances.

I love helping people and truly care about my clients.  You will feel the warmth and compassion in my approach. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I don't focus on negative labeling or solely on diagnosis. Instead, I focus on helping my clients process issues and assist them in healing and implementing solutions. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing techniques. I will tailor our conversations, and your treatment, to meet your unique and specific needs.  We will focus on what you want to, in order to get you feeling better as quickly and sustainably as possible.

Investing in your wellbeing through therapy can lead to a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life. If you are ready to try therapy, I am here to help you.

Elizabeth has been one of the best things to happen to me in the past few months of mental torment I've been growing through since both of my parents sudden passing. Her words and educated advice give me a path to follow to grow, when I had no clue of what to do before. In turn, her humor and empathy make the sessions comfortable, and like I'm talking with a friend.
A wonderful therapist all around-- but even better, a wonderful person as well.

Elizabeth is easy to talk to and listens to me. I look forward to our sessions and it’s great to have that support system.

I have a very negative relationship with myself. It’s something that I’ve wanted to work on for a long, long time. It’s hard by myself most of the time. Elizabeth helps me feel supported and cared for. She is so very kind to me, and I can’t even begin to express how much that means to me. I am so hard on myself, so for her to care and want me to be good to myself is truly meaningful and keeps me going. I have a lot going on mentally but I know that with Elizabeth’s help, I will get better.
