About Me

My name is Elizabeth A. Pritchett, a licensed Mental Health therapist and practicing substance abuse counselor. I’ve been practicing in the field for 4 years with experience working with individuals, children, and families. I have experience helping people cope with a variety of concerns with a deep interest in helping people heal through their challenges.

I offer counseling to address depression, anxiety, bipolar, and substance use addiction. A few of the therapy services I provide are cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, existential therapy, and strength based practices. Throughout these practices, I often utilize different interactive and creative strategies to help people develop insight about their presenting concerns. The gradual insight that would often be developed through these modalities will help you make necessary changes to meet your goals.

Life could take a turn on you and there are moments it could be difficult to be redirected. The most valued quote to reflect on during a journey of change is to “know who you are, where you are going, and how you’re going to get there.” The healthiest step is to start fixing the internal you to get the desired external you. If there is anything you could do for yourself, take action now for a better future.

Reviews

Written by K.R. on Jul 28, 2021 after therapy with Elizabeth A. for 1 year and 4 months on issues concerning stress, anxiety, family conflicts, intimacy-related issues, sleeping disorders, parenting issues, self esteem, anger management, career difficulties, bipolar disorder, and coping with life changes

I've spoken to Elizabeth for nearly 1.5 years and she's one of the reasons I'm still alive today. She relates to me and genuinely cares about my well-being. I hope she continues to be a valued counselor at Betterhelp.
