About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. I offer counseling for a variety of concerns, including anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, life change/adjustment issues, body image concerns, sexual identity exploration, relationship concerns, and issues that arise from shame and perfectionism.

I take an eclectic approach to counseling and tailor sessions to each individual client, incorporating psychodynamic, person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based techniques. I have worked with adults and older adolescents in a number of settings, including outpatient counseling centers and an inpatient trauma unit.

My role as a therapist is to support you and provide a safe container for your exploration and growth, as I believe that you already have everything you need within you to heal and find your way. My job is to be your guide and help you find that strength and ability within yourself. I am passionate about working with people who are committed to personal growth and ready to step into the next level, even if that is hard work. If you are looking for a quick fix, I may not be the best fit for you, as I believe that personal growth and lasting improvements in mental health take time and consistent effort. I would describe my style as warm, supportive, non-judgmental, and collaborative.

I look forward to working with you!
