About me
Elodie completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and was a member of the Broward Psychological Association. Elodie has completed professional trainings and certifications in several fields; LGBTQI, domestic violence, eating disorders and trauma.
Elodie completed her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2016. She is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician with a professional background in working with diverse populations. Elodie has provided services to children and adolescents in the foster care system, adults and families in substance abuse, mental health and trauma.
Elodie is eclectic and uses a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Reality Based, and psycho-education to individuals. A holistic and person-centered approaches are utilized by exploring with and educating clients about how mind, spirit and body are interconnected. Her theory is that when people have hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, people are free to experience change.
