Hi there! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas. I have eight years of experience working with a variety of issues. I am trained in EMDR therapy and am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional. Oftentimes, we feel that nothing can ever get to a place of serenity, and it becomes difficult to focus on finding ourselves. I want you to know that I am here to walk with you through this journey and help you regain your life back. I work with individuals experiencing a variety of issues, including but not limited to; depression, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (pregnancy and postpartum), anxiety, trauma, grief, adjustment, and low self-esteem. I would like to describe my modality approach as broad-based to better serve my client's needs.
I have a special interest in women experiencing Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs). I have been trained through Postpartum Support International in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders and strive to follow their model; You Are Not Alone, You Are Not to Blame, With Help You Will Be Well.
I look forward to working with you, and remember, you are not alone!

Elvia is a miracle worker!!! She's worked through (shown me) things that the previous 10 years of therapy were never even touched! She is very responsive and down to earth. With, what seems to be lots of experience, she really listens and will allow space for you to be your authentic self without judgement and helps you guide your own path to recovery without pushing! 10486946 out of 10 stars! Elvia is wonderful and such a good listener and provides insight and feedback that gives you a different perspective on thoughts that you've had all of your life but never thought about in that way. There has been two times in my meetings with her that I had an epiphany and it sure did make me see things clearer and understand myself better to where I could actually make some progress in trying to improve my life. She's awesome
