About me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Iowa. I graduated with a Master's of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2016 from Capella University. My experience includes working with patients experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive behaviors, parenting issues, and relationship issues. I serve adult and adolescent populations.

My approach to therapy includes Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution Focused therapies. I have a passion for helping people to discover their inner strengths and use them to develop skills to help them cope well with life issues. I help with developing personal goals and identifying the steps needed to achieve them. I work with patients to identify negative thoughts and replacement thoughts that will be more encouraging of mental wellness.

I am an encouraging, positive, and compassionate therapist with a great sense of humor. I am passionate about mental health and look forward to the opportunity to help!

My availability is mainly evenings and weekends.
