Hello and welcome! I have been a licensed professional counselor for over 4 years in the state of Kentucky and have been practicing independently for almost 2 years. Currently I work in a fast paced community mental health agency where I serve children and adolescents. The majority of my experience has been working with this population, age range from 3-18. In my time I have also seen a small handful of adults ranging in age from mid 20’s to early 50’s as well as seeing some teenage clients through their transition as adults. Although my current experience is with younger folks the topics I’m pretty well versed in treating include anxiety, depression, life transition, stress management, and some grief.
The techniques I utilize most often are cognitive and motivational interviewing. I pride myself on building good rapport with clients with humor when appropriate as well as honesty and transparency.
