About Me

Hi, my name is Emily Beltran and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Southern California. My greatest passion is seeing a client get to where they want to be and to help them get unstuck. I've worked in many different settings with individuals and families who have a variety of personal issues such as depression/anxiety, stress, family problems, trauma/abuse, relationships/parenting and more. A few of my specialties include grief and loss, maternal mental health, pregnancy and parenthood. 

My counseling style is calm and empowering. With my clinical judgment, intuition and collaboration with you as the client I may use a variety of modalities. Therapy with me might include CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), CPT (cognitive processing therapy), Solution Focused Therapy, and/or mindfulness. I will also pull from your own strengths, yes you already have many! My goal is to get you where you want to be. You are not alone

Emily was one of the better things that happened in 2020 for me. I feel like I got lucky in having her assigned to me. She’s really helped me to understand my anxieties and myself a lot more. She’s a great support, and help in my life.

I've had 2 sessions with Emily and both have been instrumental to my improved mental health. During my 1st session, I was able to be vulnerable with her and didn't have to feel "wrong" for crying for no reason. She provided great tips that I implemented immediately. During my 2nd session, we ended with a visual meditation that shifted my mood from bothered, angry, anxious to peaceful and light hearted. I'm grateful to be connected with Emily.
