Hi, my name is Emily Beltran and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Southern California. My greatest passion is seeing a client get to where they want to be and to help them get unstuck. I've worked in many different settings with individuals and families who have a variety of personal issues such as depression/anxiety, stress, family problems, trauma/abuse, relationships/parenting and more. A few of my specialties include grief and loss, maternal mental health, pregnancy and parenthood.
My counseling style is calm and empowering. With my clinical judgment, intuition and collaboration with you as the client I may use a variety of modalities. Therapy with me might include CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), CPT (cognitive processing therapy), Solution Focused Therapy, and/or mindfulness. I've had 2 sessions with Emily and both have been instrumental to my improved mental health.
